Fertility in 100 Words

“Act as if you are already pregnant to help you make better choices about the food you eat, the stress that you allow into your life, the time you go to bed. Enjoy colourful fruit and vegetables, eat quality protein and good fats. Take a preconception supplement. Move your body… not too little, not too much. Achieve a healthy body weight. Reduce your toxic chemical exposure. Address underlying health conditions and check baseline health status. Learn to love your cycle and ovulation signs. Get out of your head and into your heart. Enjoy lovemaking. Implement for at least 3-4 months.”

I’ll admit that this came together quickly, but this does not by any means cover all the factors. Preconception care or fertility for a heterosexual couple is different to preconception care or fertility for couples / single parents by choice facing assisted reproductive technology. This is where individualised treatment comes into play.

If you are currently trying for a baby or thinking about it in the near future, or if you are heading down the path of egg freezing or IVF… get in touch! It is all about setting the foundations, not just for pregnancy, but for healthy babies and a thriving postpartum.
